Just heard from Sandy, who talked to John today.   Pam has been off of the antibiotics since Friday.  They are doing tests for infection and so far so good!  The shunt may be reinserted at the end of the week.  Still no word on when she will be released from the hospital.   Pam was moved to a room close to the nurses station as they caught her getting out of bed by herself... a definate no, no !!   Bob helps her get into a chair and has her standing several times during the day.  Johnathon says that she is trying really hard to talk and at times gets a bit frustrated.....but she is persistent.   Johnna and Jenny are visiting tonight...if they have more news I will let you know.

Excellent news guys!  Thank you!  Glad to hear they left Pam on antibiotics to this extent and then monitoring much better this time around!!  Pam's increased mobility and persistance to talk should prove out to be a good thing as well!  Cuz we all know Pam wants to improve her health more then all of us put together!!  Keep "workin' it" Pammy, and you'll breakthrough soon!!

Thank you cousin's for keeping us all in touch with all of Pam's most current events!!

Thanks Dalene and Johnna for the report..... sounds so good. I can understand her getting frustrated when things don't come out like she wishes but 'this too will pass.' This too will pass was a favorite saying of my Mom's, and "darn" she was right again.

Hey Aunt Dalene, Jenny and i went to visit Aunt Pam and it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!! She is doing realy good. She was sitting in a chair when we got there doing  puzzle that Kris had sent with Jon for her to do, soo cool. She said a few things while we were there but as you said she gets frustrated when things wont come out right. We also got to see her stand up to get back in bed. She pretty much did herself but the nurse had her arm under hers for a little boost, gosh it was so awesome to see her doing so good!!! I'm sure it won't be much longer and she'll be on a roll! ~ lots of love-Johnna
